I have a new laptop running Windows 8.1 and .Net Framework 4.
I installed Sharpdevelop 4.4 and when I tried to build a simple WIndows Form Application (the default generated by Sharpdevelop), Sharpdevelop will hang at the stage when it is generating the .exe file. I tried upgrading to Sharpdevelop 5.1 but experience the same issue.
If you have experience similar issues before, I would be very grateful if you can share with me how you resolve it as I really enjoy using Sharpdevelop and hope I can continue to use it on my new laptop.
