Highlight code

Hi.

I have a question. I have to highlight a portion of code.

I have two tags, one for start and one of end, similar to #region and #endregion. I want the code between the two tag has a different background color (of course, the background color should be customizable).

I have my own xshd file. How can I make this possible?
